Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1

Here's the beginning to persuade you to go check out the rest!

I’m going to admit right away that I’m a diehard Harry Potter fan, so when I say that Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows is brilliant you might think that I’m being biased. I’m not. The Harry Potter series are well known for not being fantastic films, and while they certainly have improved over the years (and as the acting’s become significantly better), there have always been many flaws, so I was pleasantly surprised that Deathly Hallows met, and then exceeded, my expectations.

Although the decision to split the seventh film into two parts is heavily suspected to be for financial gain, considering part 1 is two and a half hours long, if they’d tried to fit everything into one film it would have been far too long and confusing. It could be argued that parts of the film are slow, but it’s needed and there’s so much back story to be covered that if it wasn’t for the split, the resulting film could have been unwatchable. People complained about how much plot was cut out of the fourth film, and book 7 is even longer. But don’t be put off by the films length, it doesn’t feel that long, and it’s definitely needed.
